You need to register for an
Emerald
membership at Sheet Music Digital
before you can begin to upload files.
|
|
|
Once you have an
Emerald
membership then you
will be able to upload as many files as you want. You will even have
the option of creating your very own personal web page on My Music
School where all your uploaded files can be viewed by other
members and see information about you. You can add a personal image
and biography of yourself. You can also send anyone you know the
link to your web page so they can see your music easily and quickly.
Note: Please note that you do not need to create your own
web page for your files. You can just upload the files and they will
show in searches and our other public domain lists. You can also add
a personal web page down the road. It does not have to be right
away.

example of a member's personal page - Mary Misiak.
This will give you an idea of how your page will look when
you have uploaded files with comments and descriptions.
Mary can edit the description, title and any other
information about her music at any time and can also choose
to delete any record at any time as well. |
There are the conditions about the files you
upload:
Any uploaded file can also be downloaded for
free by any other Emerald or free member.
Uploaded files will never be sold. They reside
our "public domain"
library where they can only be downloaded as per the conditions
above.
Sheet Music Digital does not "own" the uploaded
files. They always remain the copyright and property of the
member and can be edited or deleted at any time by that member.
Uploaded files must be your original work or in
the
public domain.
You can upload as many files as you want.
Files uploaded are placed as 'pending' until
we have checked and approved the files as we do now want
inappropriate files posted.
Once you have uploaded an approved file, you will become a 'trusted
up loader' and future files will be posted immediately.
Anyone posting any inappropriate files as a 'trusted up loader' will
mean that future uploads will be permanently placed in 'pending'
mode.
While our current public domain library has over
14,122
files, we want this library to build to over 100,000
files which can be used a valuable resource by all teachers,
schools, churches, students, organizations and all music lovers who
are Emerald members! |
