ABOUT PORTABLE SCORCH FILES The PSF files
have been created to directly match the sheet music and Scorch file
of the song selected or have been uploaded by other Emerald members.
When you download a portable Scorch file - it means
this is your digital sheet music file to play, hear and print
forever!
Portable Scorch files can be transposed up or down
into any key and the melody line can be rewritten for most
instruments. You do not have to be connected to the Internet as
all printing is done directly from the file.
This is great for
schools and teachers as you can put a copy on each computer in your
lab and download as many files as you need to create your own
personal resource library of sheet music and exercises!
HOW TO OPEN
PORTABLE SCORCH FILES
The file
saved will be a zip file. We will use the file name 10000075.zip as
an example.
When you
unzip the file, there will be 2 files - 10000075.sco and
10000075.htm.
Save the
2 files, 10000075.sco and 10000075.htm on to your desktop or other
location.
Make sure
both files on are in the
same folder or both on the desktop as they need to reside in the
same location. The reason is when you double-click on the .htm
file it expects the matching .sco file to be in the same location.
Once the
2 files have been saved, double-click on the 10000075.htm file
and the scorch file will open in your default browser where you can
play, transpose and print unlimited copies!
TIP: You
can rename the htm file to anything you want such as
MapleLeafRag.htm to make it easier to find your music.
Do not change the .htm extension and do not rename the .sco file |
